Hand Surgery-

My name is Gene Crain, on June 18th 2009 around 12:30 pm my family and I met Dr Juan Liceaga in the emergency room at Medica Los Cabos here in San Jose. He arrived to consult on a hand/wrist injury I had sustained in our woodworking shop located 12 miles from San Jose in a rural development named Los Zacatitos. We produce custom doors and cabinetry and on this day I was drilling an entry door for a lockset when the drill bit unexpectedly pulled thru the door and hit my wrist just below the watch band. I knew the injury was bad, my wife rushed me to the emergency room where treatment was begun to stabilize the wound and during that time Dr Liceaga was called to evaluate and eventually perform the 4 hr surgery to reconnect 3 severed tendons and the ulnar nerve.

After the four hour surgery, I was awakened and taken to the recovery room where I would spend the next three days with my arm in traction. Dr Liceaga was there and again gave a very detailed explanation of the surgery and the upcoming healing process to my wife. Dr Liceaga checked on me each day during my stay at the hospital and was very attentive, caring and reassuring to our family.

I also want to tell you how grateful we are of Dr Liceaga.  I have no doubt that without the expertise, honesty and caring attitude of Dr Juan Liceaga I would not be expected to make such a rapid and full recovery.  Cabo is very blessed to have him here.

Cosmetic Dental Makeover-

Dear Dr. Arciga:

I just had to write and thank you for the simply marvelous job you did on my full mouth cosmetic dental restoration!

Firstly, as you know, I had previously paid a Beverly Hills, "Dentist to the stars" over $30,000., ten years ago,  to do the exact same thing-- ie; put caps/crowns on every single tooth in my mouth after taking care of all the cavities, root canals, extractions, etc. --- but the quality of your work-- the final result ---of your doing the same thing  ( plus having to remove the older crowns first) ---  far exceeds that of the "Dentist to the Stars" --- and--- at half the price and in so short a time period!
